The PEMA Stoned and Plastered Unisex Classic Tee design originated from a fond recognition of two crews that helped build my family’s home. Their work was impeccable, and they were open to letting me help and learn, so I was given the job of framing a small wall. The result was so bad that, amid the laughter, I quickly realized the construction was ghetto. In that moment, I named my imaginary construction company Ghetto Builders, and I gave it the slogan, “We Get It Right The Second Time.” In life, getting it right can be a process. (Pete Jackson)
