About the design: The PEMA Ghetto Builders (and Stoned and Plastered)Unisex Tee shirt design originated from a fond recognition of two crews that worked on my family’s home. Their work was impeccable, and they were open to letting me help (and learn,) so I was given the job of framing a small wall. The result was so bad that, when the laughter started I appreciated the construction was poorly done, and I quickly named my imaginary construction company Ghetto Builders, and I gave it the slogan, “We Get It Right The Second Time.” Later I saw how the saying could easily apply to many of the thing we (people) experience almost daily.
